DVDStyler gives you upwards of 20 DVD menu templates to choose from, allowing you to create your own menu designs and photo slideshows. Once all is in place you can perform basic video editing techniques, such as trimming and cropping to finish your DVD. It’s relatively lightweight and doesn’t hammer your system’s resources too much during processing.

I think it is a nice program giving you control over font looks and backgrounds of your own choosing. But when I added audio the program would always fail when I went to compile it.

I did have loop on. I took the audio out and than it would compile properly. Shame that my DVD’s cannot have sound. It works very well easy to use you can add your own backgrounds. It would be nice to have an inbuilt player to test the DVD without having render out first. I have only tried use it with a pre rendered Mpeg 2 file but will be experimenting with ProRes formats to put the encode under load.

DVDStyler is a pretty interesting program which allows you to create DVD movies complete with menus, chapters and more. Though its easy-to-use, it doesn’t really have too many options to really make an impressive, professional DVD movie and it also lacks a preview feature. With that said, it is perfectly acceptable as a DVD authoring application for those wishing to archive family movies complete with chapters and menus.

You can customize DVDs with background images. DVDStyler provides a familiar user interface with is not only fast, but not very complicated to use. It also includes a variety of built-in graphics and buttons which you are free to use in your authoring efforts. Once you’re done creating your DVD movie, you should use a separate burning application to actually burn the image to a disc; there are a ton of other freeware options for that!
